Summer 2018 Reading Program Kickoff

Kickoff our Summer of 2018 Reading Program on Thursday, June 28th at the Rosendale Library with our Storyhour at 10am and our Instrument making and Parade at 4:00 at the library! Register and pick up your log at the library or call 658-8955 and leave a message This year we will be logging our books for emergent readers and our minutes read for our readers! Thursdays, 10-11(Preschool –K); 11:30-12:30(Gr.1-6) (gr.7-12)TBA
Please note that there will be no Summer Reading Program on July 12, July 19, and August 9.
June 28: 4:00—Instrument making and parade at the library; All ages
July 3: 4:00 -The Spoon Man—a hilarious comedy program for all ages at the Rosendale Recreation Center
Artist Jill Obrig will return with a series of workshops based on books and will create fun art projects based on varying artist’s styles
July 5: 10:00 –PreK and up will make monster masks at the library
July 10: 4:00 –Create your own flip book with Jill, Rec Center; Gr.2-6
July 26: 10:00 –PreK and up will make Giacometti Sculptures at the library
Aug. 1: 4:00—an origami adventure with Jill at the Rec Center; Gr.2-6
Aug. 30: 10:00— Ending Celebration of Summer Reading; All Ages
