Victor Capelli, Environmental Educator From the oldest rocks of the Catskill Mountains to the origins of the Taconics, Hudson Highlands and Manhattan, this program includes an exciting hands-on demonstration, display and brief slide show about the geological and fossil history of NY. Samples of rocks, minerals and fossils, including ancient beach ripple stone and fossil trees from the Catskill Sea (400 million years old) will be on display.
